Trovo molto interessante questa
cantante Americana che vive a Parigi.
In lei si possono trovare influssi flolk
americani e jazz ma la poesia dei suoi testi e le atmosfere rarefatte delle sue
canzoni sono soltanto sue. E’ da tempo che non sentivo qualcosa che mi
piacesse, in un periodo in cui il rap e la musica
oscena che ci viene propinata mane e sera ci ha quasi
abituato a chiudere la mente quando le nostre orecchie percepiscono qualcosa di
ostico, addirittura peggiore direi della musica classica contemporanea. Ecco
nella semplicità raffinata di queste canzoni ritrovo la gioia di
ascoltare. Quando poi mettete
insieme una piccola chiesa di montagna,
